Events: Give a Hoot for Self-Help Weekend
FIFTH ANNUAL HOOTERS FORE SELF-HELP WEEKEND
Join Self-Help International for its annual Give a Hoot Fore Self-Help Weekend featuring a golf tournament, 5K and, new this year, a cornhole tournament.
The annual Hooters for Self-Help Charity Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, June 8. To sign up for the four-person best shot, click HERE to download the registration form.
The field is limited, registration and $500 payment per foursome should be submitted as soon as possible. Make checks payable to Self-Help International. The Give a Hoot 5K and Cornhole Tournament will take place Sunday, June 9 at The Fainting Goat in Waverly. The 5K will feature a new urban route through the city of Waverly and fun family activities and tasty treats at the end of the race. The cost to participate is $20 per person. Cost to participate in Iowa’s only Hooters Cornhole Tournament is $50 per team of two. Participants registered by May 18 receive a t-shirt. - Friday, June 7, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Golfer’s reception at Tendrils Rooftop Garden in Waverly
All registered golfers and sponsors are cordially invited. The reception will be hosted by the lovely Hooters Calendar Girls beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
- Friday, June 7, 8:30-10:30 p.m. Hooters Night at The Fainting Goat
The public is invited to meet the beautiful Hooters Calendar Girls. The evening will include photo signings by the girls as well as some Hooters style fun!
- Saturday, June 8, 9 a.m. Hooters Fore Self-Help Golf Tournament at Centennial Oaks in Waverly

The Hooters calendar girls will be hosting the pre-golf events in the clubhouse and visiting golfers on the course.
