Knitters Knit for Self-Help
Karen Thalacker, author of Knitting with Gigi has designated
Self-Help International as the first non-profit organization
to benefit from the fictional character's kind heart.
Gigi and Self-Help are on a mission, to provide children
with improved nutrition. Let's all join forces to do
what is right. Together we will win this important fight.
In her book, the author gives step-by-step instructions
on simple knitting patterns. She is asking kids to knit
dish cloths and send money to families in Ghana,
West Africa and Nicaragua,
Central America.
Self-Help will receive 100%t of the profit of books
sold through our offices. Knitting with Gigi teaches kids
how to knit. Buy a book for $17 and help feed a child
at the Self-Help feeding centers in Ghana
and Nicaragua.
